In 2022, together with All trade Recycling and MAI –
the Israeli electronic waste recycling corporation operating
on behalf of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, we
will build the first refrigerator and air conditioner recycling
plant in Israel.
This plant will handle approximately one million tons of CO2 emissions and reduce the effect on global warming to an extent similar to that of removing all private vehicles from israeli roads. The facility will not only offset electra’s emissions, but will also produce recycled iron, aluminum, stainless steel, copper and plastic as byproducts that will be used in the production of the company’s new products.
